MEETING ACTIVITIES:

Feature Presentations/Demos/Activities:

(1) Figure Painting 2 Ways: Acrylics and Oils (Peter Ferk and Marcello Fuentes)

(2) Decals (Jim Frye)

One of the best ways to further impart a sense of realism to your armor models is to supplement them with some well-painted figures.

To that end, SoCal AMPS member and AMPS 2nd VP West Coast Pascal Zandt, in the spirit of inter-club coordination, has arranged for 2 well known figure painters from the L.A. Miniaturists Society (LAMS) modeling club, Peter Ferk and Marcello Fuentes, to provide a special demonstration on Painting Figures Two Ways-with acrylics and oils.

Additionally, Jim Frye will provide a demonstration on Applying Decals.

Everyone Welcome:

Modelers of all ages and experience levels, wives, girlfriends, significant others and family members are always welcome.

As always, you don’t need to be a national AMPS or SoCal AMPS member to attend and there is no cost to attend the meeting.

Just bring something armor modeling-related to share and participate in the meeting.
